Why make the drive

Why People From Enderby and Narborough Train With Us

Most people who come to us from the south-west of Leicester have already tried the obvious options. A big gym membership that went unused. A class that felt like it was built for 25-year-olds. A trainer who was great until they moved on. What they were looking for was simpler than they thought.

Someone watching

Every rep coached and corrected, whether you train 1-to-1 or in a small group of around six. Your coach adjusts the weight, swaps an exercise if something hurts, and knows what you lifted last week.

A plan that progresses

Not a different workout every week, but a programme that builds over 90 days, so you get measurably stronger rather than just tired.

People your own age

Most of our members are over 40, and plenty are over 60. You will not be the oldest person in the room, and nobody is doing burpees next to you.

Somewhere private

A studio, not an open-access gym. Nobody filming, nobody watching, nobody waiting for your bench. Sessions run Monday to Saturday, early and evening.

Two formats, one programme

Two Ways To Train (We'll Recommend Which Fits You)

Everything funnels into the 90 Day Transformation Program. Same structure, same coaching approach.

The only difference is how you train:

1-to-1 Personal Training

What it is

  • Private sessions, one-to-one with your coach
  • Full attention every session
  • Every rep, every set, adjusted for you

Works well for

  • People who want privacy
  • Nervous beginners
  • Anyone with injuries or ongoing niggles

Small Group Personal Training

What it is

  • You train in a small group (max 10, average 6)
  • Same session structure, coach adjusts for each person
  • Coached personal training in a group—not a class

Works well for

  • People who like training around others
  • Those who want accountability and community
  • Anyone who's graduated from 1-to-1 and wants a different vibe

Inside a session

What Happens in a Small Group Personal Training Session?

Every session is 60 minutes. Here's the structure:

  1. 10–15 mins

    Focused Mobility & Flexibility Work

Not just generic stretching. Specific movements designed to prepare your body for the session ahead and reduce the aches, pains, and stiffness that come with being over 40.

  2. 35–40 mins

    Strength Training Block

This is the core of the session. Your coach takes you through your programme — exercises chosen specifically for you, progressed at the right pace for your body. Whilst you're working through your programme, the person next to you is doing theirs. Different exercises, different weights, different progressions. Your coach moves between each person, watching, correcting, adjusting.

  3. 10 mins

    Cardiovascular Conditioning

The final block gets your heart rate up without breaking you. It's challenging, it's fun, and it's appropriate to your fitness level. You leave energised, not exhausted.

You train 2–4 times per week depending on your goals and schedule. We'll recommend the right frequency during your free consultation.

FAQs

Questions From People in Enderby, Narborough and Huncote

Is it really worth the drive from Enderby or Narborough?

If what you want is a gym, no. There are gyms closer to you. If what you want is coaching, with someone watching every rep and a programme that actually progresses, our members say yes. Most of them train with us two or three times a week for years, and plenty make a longer journey than you would.

Do you offer personal training in Enderby, Narborough or Huncote itself?

No. All our sessions are at our private studio on Heanor Street in Leicester. That is deliberate: the equipment, the coaches and the community are all in one place, and you get the same session whichever day you come.

Is there parking at the studio?

Yes. Free, secure, off-road parking on site, so you can park and walk straight in. No circling the block and no paying for parking.

I'm over 60 and haven't trained in years. Is this for me?

Yes. Many of our members started in their 50s, 60s and 70s. We would usually suggest starting 1-to-1 or in a small group, and the first few weeks are built around exactly where you are now.

What is small group personal training?

Small group personal training is where you train alongside a small group of people (max 10, average 6), but you're coached individually. Your programme is personalised to you — your coach adjusts weights, reps, and exercises based on your goals, injuries, and current fitness level. It's not a class where everyone does the same thing. You're coached individually — you just happen to be training with others.

How many people are in a small group training session in Leicester?

Maximum 10 people per session. Average is 6. We keep the groups deliberately small so the coach can give you proper individual attention. If the group gets too big, the coaching quality suffers — and we're not willing to compromise on that.

How much does small group personal training in Leicester cost?

Programmes start from £50 per week depending on how often you train and your overall goals. This is significantly more affordable than 1-to-1 personal training, whilst delivering the same coaching quality and personalised programming. We discuss exact pricing during your free consultation — no hidden costs, no surprises.

Can I switch from small group to 1-to-1 later (or vice versa)?

Yes. Some people start with 1-to-1 to build confidence and then move to small groups when they're ready. Others start in small groups and occasionally add 1-to-1 sessions for focused work. Your programme follows you — the coaching approach stays consistent whichever format you're in.
